National WTO/TBT Enquiry Point
As Malaysia’s Enquiry Point for World Trade Organization on Technical Barriers to Trade (WTO/TBT), SIRIM STS provides information on technical regulations, standards and conformity assessments that may create unnecessary barriers to trade.
Our roles are:
- Disseminate and coordinate comments on foreign notifications
- Respond to local and foreign enquiries on regulations, standards and conformity assessment procedures (CAP)
- Draft and process Malaysia’s Notification
- Provide technical support to the National Mirror Committee (NMC) on WTO/TBT
SIRIM Technical Library
SIRIM Technical Library is the most comprehensive standards and technical information
centre in Malaysia. We subscribe to a number of national, regional and international
standards and information networks that allow us to identify and acquire information from
anywhere in the world.
SIRIM STS offers a Library Membership Scheme to Malaysian industries, government
agencies, associations, academicians and other stakeholders.

We sell important standard documents for audits, tests, and certifications. We offer SIRIM Industry Standards, both local and international. We also have standards from various associations and organizations for sale.
